This latex-free sponge allows for a more full coverage finish. Lily Lolo have a sponge available to buy called Flocked Sponge. For a light to medium coverage I use the kabuki brush to swirl in the powder then sweep on my skin.įor a fuller coverage it’s best to use a sponge. The brush is soft with just enough tension to make powder application easy and even. It’s the perfect size for a more precise application and also for getting into the creases of the nose. I bought Lily Lilo’s mini kabuki brush to apply their mineral foundation and I’m so glad I did! This is a brilliant little makeup brush. The powder is so finely milled though it really doesn’t highlight pores or dry patches. Or mo isturised skin to minimise the powder catching on any dry patches. The coverage is easily customisable and I think it looks best when the skin is prepared with a smoothing primer. L ily Lolo powder foundation is incredibly fine milled which makes the finish flawless. I’m super pale and unusually the lightest shade, Porcelain, is actually too light for me while China Doll is perfect. Both shades have neutral undertones (don’t pull too cool/pink nor too warm/yellow). I purchased two of the lightest shades of the Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation SPF15. Additionally, both products offer medium coverage. Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer ($25): Like the BareMinerals Original Liquid Mineral Concealer, the Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer is fragrance-free and cruelty-free. If you’re a concealer junkie like me that looks for clean, vegan, and cruelty-free products, this concealer will not disappoint. This concealer retails for $25, which I believe to be in the medium range. This lightweight concealer offered plenty of coverage, and I was able to layer more product if I felt I needed it. The beauty of this concealer is you can layer it depending on the amount of coverage you are going for. Then, I follow with a sponge or concealer brush to smooth out any of the product that may have collected in my wrinkles. To apply, I use the concealer applicator and dab around my under eye, fanning upward to my eye lids, and then I gently dab with my ring finger in an outward fashion. I found the bare Minerals Liquid Mineral Concealer a bit more drying than other brands when worn alone, but when used in conjunction with a good moisturizer it’s absolute perfection. ![]() I have very deep-set, large eyes and have worn concealer for as long as I can remember to soften the shadows of my eyes.
